Award-winning playwright Chelsea Marcantel brings her signature blend of exuberance and expertise to every engagement — as well as a Fellowship from The Juilliard School, a Master’s Degree in Education, and fifteen years experience as a working writer, In addition to playwrighting instruction, her trainings include topics such as: how to create a productive workshop or rehearsal room, finding your voice as a writer, healthy collaboration dynamics, the artist as activist, and even tips for your artist taxes. Chelsea believes that empowering students with the tools to be working writers goes hand-in-hand with teaching craft fundamentals. She counts as her collaborators and mentors some of the giants of the American theatre, and joyfully continues their teaching tradition in her own dynamic and memorable way.
